In the last three years, Paul and his boys have become great friends to me and my family. I worked with Paul on a daily basis and I know he loved his family and believed in God. I'll greatly miss one of the very few friends that you hear people talking about being able to put on one of the fingers of their hand. I'll love you and miss you forever Paul.

It is a tragedy for someone to go so young, who had so much more to give in life. I wanted to let his family know that many people, including myself are praying for them. I am sorry that something like this had to happen, and to let you know that he is a guardian angel looking down on all of you and he will be there to protect you when ever you need him. While Mrs.Shinn was at the Oakboro Baptist Home,I remember Paul coming to pick her up every Sunday and taking her to church she was so very proud of him,I remember when he would walk in the door she would let everybody know that was her grandson and that she loved him dearly.-My deepest condolences.

My daughter loved Paul, Danielle use to sit on his lap in the bobcat while Paul helped us fix up our property. When she saw him coming she would run out to him and he would swing her around in his arms. We love Paul and he will be truly missed.

Paul's Family,
Just to let you know that Paul was a dear friend to me for so many years. I loved all the many fishing trips and times we shared.
together. He was like a son to me. I loved him dearly. We had just shared a
few minutes over the weekend and were
ready to get back to fishing, like old times.
Please know that I will always hold his
memories in my heart, forever.

A Dear Friend,

I'm very sorry to hear about Paul's passing. He and I were very good friends, we worked together for about 8 years. He was the funniest person I have ever been around. I still laugh when I think about him calling in sick to work one day, saying "I feel crappie" AKA.. I'm going crappie fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
