Sharron Thornton Obituary

Sharron Anne Thornton
Sharron, age 45, of Charlotte, went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Born November 12, 1964, she is the daughter of Donald J. Thornton of Indian Trail and Brenda Southerland Horne of Suffolk, VA. Sharron had been a resident of Howell Care Center for many years.
The memorial service to celebrate her life will be private.
In addition to her parents, Sharron is loved and remembered by a brother, Donald Joseph Thornton, Jr. and his wife, Ayesha, of Huntersville; a sister, Shonda Nance of Charlotte; two half sisters, Kyndra Jones and her husband, Jeff, of Charlotte and Stephanie Chawla and her husband, Sam, of New York, NY; two nephews, Caleb Johnson and Eli Jones; and a niece, Sofia Thornton.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Howell Care Center and Hospice of Union County for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to RHA/Howell Care Center, Inc., 11950 Howell Center Drive, Charlotte, NC 28227.

Dearest Brenda and Family:

Mr. Thornton & Family,
It was with a great sense of loss when I heard of Sharron’s death.
I want to let you know that you have my greatest sympathy, and my heart is truly saddened.
Sharron was a wonderful person; a shining example of a kind, loving, and caring person. Her passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew her. She will always remain within my heart.
