Vicki Westbrook Obituary
INDIAN TRAIL -- Mrs. Westbrook, age 49, of Indian Trail, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2004. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 1:00PM with a funeral service in celebration of her life following at 2:00 PM at Warehouse 242 Church, 2307 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC, officiated by Reverends Bruce Marcey, of Warehouse 242 Church and Michael Macon of Dobson, NC. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn East Cemetery. Visitation at other times will be held at the Westbrook home.
Mrs. Westbrook was born on July 31, 1955 in Concord, NC daughter to Howard and Shelby Fullerton. Vicki worked right by her husband's side in their Ace Vending Business. Vicki loved attending Panther's games and never missed one. She spent many years at Garr Christian Academy and Preschool where she was affectionately known there as 'Miss Vicki'. Her love of her family, church and friends were evident every day of her life. She instilled Christ's love in all who knew her and made an impact on many lives. Vicki will be greatly missed by her family.
Survivors include husband, Henry C. Westbrook, JR, of the home, daughters, Jana and Joy Westbrook, future son-in-law, Nic Caballero, all of Charlotte, parents, Howard and Shelby Fullerton, of Monroe, grandmothers, Reona Dupree, of Monroe, Alice Fullerton, of Charlotte, siblings, Angela Conklin and husband Mike, of Graham, NC, Amy Beth Thomas and husband Ken, of Charlotte, Frankie Fullerton, of Charlotte, Helen Calvin and husband Wes, of N. Wilkesboro, nephews, Brandon and Jordan Conklin, of Charlotte, Luke Calvin, of N. Wilkesboro, nieces, Gretchen Conklin, of Winston Salem, Kendal and Anna Thomas, of Charlotte, Stahlie and Darby Calvin, of N. Wilkesboro, Holly and Kristy Westbrook, of Concord, Carlee and DeAnna Macon, of Dobson, NC, sister-in-law, Arlene Macon and husband Michael, of Dobson, NC and brother-in-law, Mac Westbrook and wife Melanie, of Concord. Her father and mother-in-law, Carlton and Adeana Westbrook, preceded her in death.

We deeply regret your loss. Even though we do not know you personally, we do know Angela and her family. Our prayer is that you will remain close to God and seek His face even during this tragic time. You are in our prayers and we are thankful that we have a God big enough to reach across the miles and comfort friends and family even when our arms are not long enough. Dear Henry, Jana, Joy, Shelby, Amy-Beth and all of your precious loved ones.
I was so sad to hear of your great loss. Vicki truly was a blessing to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She will be greatly missed. She was so creative and had so much energy and spunk, just thinking about the way she laughed brings a smile to my face. She had a wonderful way of bringing out the best in all the children she taught. I still have a framed watercolor picture that Andrew made when he was in her class 13 years ago. In Miss Vicki's class every piece of artwork was valued and I think that Vicki's enthusiasm and encouragement was instrumental in Andrew's ongoing love of art.
I know that Vicki is now in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus, and I pray that those same amrs will enfold you and uphold you in your time of sorrow.
