William Tiszai Obituary

LAKE WYLIE -- Mr. Tiszai, 61, of 131 Summerfield Court, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2007 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel with Rev. Bruce Jones officiating.
A native of Greenville, AL, Mr. Tiszai was the son of William Tiszai of Apex, NC and the late Ara Mosley Tiszai. He retired from EcoLab in St. Paul, MN. He enjoyed golfing and was active with Batten Disease Support and Research Association.
In addition to his father, Mr. Tiszai is survived by his wife, Deb Tiszai of the home; his sons, Bill Tiszai and his wife, Jennifer of Marietta, GA and Chuck Tiszai of Charlotte; his daughter, Heather Tiszai and her husband, Joey Hoats of Bellingham, WA; his sisters, Nelle Goodwin of Wilson, NC and Lenni Wilson of Apex, NC; and four grandchildren, Ara Jean Tiszai, Nathan Tiszai, Eliza Tiszai, and Pearl Hoats. He was preceded in death by his son, Grant Tiszai.
The family will receive friends 1-2 pm Wednesday prior to the service at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Batten Disease Support & Research Association, 166 Humphries Drive, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 (www.bdsra.org).
Greene Funeral Home Northwest is in charge.

Rick was a very good friend to my family and me for many, many years. He was also instrumental in creating very positive change in the industry he served while at Ecolab. He will be missed by so many.
