Marcus Clark Obituary

Marcus Lavern Clark Jr., 30, of Marble, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025.
Marcus was a native of Pinellas County, Fla., where he graduated Wakulla High School in 2013. In 2018 Marcus moved to Marble, N.C., and in 2021 he met his future wife, Kellie.
Marcus enjoyed fishing and disc golf.
Marcus was preceded in death by one brother, George Amos Clark II; and his grandparents, Morris and Iva Clark, and Nick Arnold and Clarol Murray.
He was the son of Marcus Sr. and Diane Meyer Clark. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Kellie Rae Clark; one sister, Nichole Fraser and husband Rhyan; and one brother, Cliff Scheu and wife Lari; he is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Marble Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Roehm officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Marcus Lavern Clark Jr. to Renewed Hope in Peachtree, 150 Penny Lane, Murphy, NC 28906.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of all arrangements.
