Dear Edie,
As we spoke the other day, I surprized to hear the sad news and so sorry that I did not hear about it sooner. Every time I visited the home Al was always smiling, had a great sense of humor and was a very good businessman. He will be sorely missed. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Folkdancing with Al and Edie was one of my huge pleasures, especially during times of stress. Many of us will remember Al.

Dear Edie and all of Al's family - our memories of Al are fond and will be with us always . So many times we would watch him strolling by our window in Union Pier. And always a hug for everyone.
Best thoughts go out to you,
Dianne and Barry Thomas

Dearest Edie,
The family lost someone special when it lost Al. He radiated goodness and kindness, and was a special friend to me.
My heart goes out to you and the family. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.
