Allan LaPorte Obituary

Allan R. LaPorte, age 81, of Lombard and West Chicago, returned to God's heavenly kingdom on December 11, 2022.

Allan was the dear husband of the late Marilyn LaPorte nee Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Dorothy Brucato. He was the loving father of Lois (Dan) Kocian, Bradley (Jeff Newman) LaPorte, Tami (Tom) Trisoliere; dear stepfather of Debbie (Dennis) Nelson, and Laurie (Rick) Partain; grandfather of 9; great-grandfather of 11; son of the late Louis and the late Phyllis (Deorio) LaPorte; and brother of Barbara (the late Louis) Granata.

Allan was a devout Christian and long-time Parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard. He was a charitable man and donated to his church.

Allan was a hard worker and often had multiple jobs at the same time. He was a handyman and liked maintaining his home. Allan also enjoyed driving his car.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14, from 3-8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Funeral Services Thursday, December 15, with 9:30 AM Prayers to 10:00 AM Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1025 E. Madison St., Lombard. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
