David Goins Obituary
David Sherman Goins, passed away on June 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Lerna Aranda Goins; children, Afton Marie Goins, Haley Laine Goins, Ava Lauren Goins and Thandie Hunter Goins; parents, Herbert and Joan M. Leek Goins; two sisters and two brothers. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, 12 p.m. at Stuart Mortuary Chapel, with calling on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has set up a trust fund for his children through Charter One Bank, 6100 North Keystone Avenue INB266, Indianapolis, IN 46220. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Stuart Mortuary, Inc.

Lerna,
I was surprise to hear about David's transition to eternal peace
at this time and age. I know that it is all in God's time and his plan for us. David's energy will leave on through you and the children. I always remember his courage to step out on faith and try new ventures. Which most of us are afraid to do but he had that desire to change and the energy to do it. Let that passion live on in you Lerna. Keep the faith.

Though it has been many years since I've seen David, I will always remember him as a positive spirit with a smiling face. If a man can do nothing more than leave people better for having known him, I am blessed that he passed my way.
