Henry Rogers Obituary
Henry J. Rogers, Jr., 93, Aug. 15. WWII Army Veteran who served in North Africa, Italy and Germany and received a Silver Battle Star. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father of Joan, Michael (Karin) and Richard (Patricia) Rogers. Dear grandfather of Jennifer Composono, John Voris, Christina, Amelia, Daniel and Timothy Rogers and the late Justin Lea. Henry was a 1939 graduate of Leo High School, a 65 year member of the Chicago Board of Trade and a former parishioner and usher at Christ the King Church. Services and Interment were held privately. Memorials may be made to the Leo High School Scholarship Fund, 7901 S. Sangamon, Chicago, IL 60620. Arrangements entrusted to Donnellan Funeral Home, (773) 238-0075. Dear Joan, May you find comfort in the many sweet memories you have recalled to me as you and your family helped your Dad over these last couple of years.
