There was only one Isabel. She was the kindest, sweetest, funniest and a totally wonderful friend to my departed wife and I. She will always live in my memory and missed. She was the perfect mate for Marshall, my boyhood friend.

Issy & Marsh were the sweetest people that both my late wife (Lois) &I have ever had the joy knowing.
Marsh & I went to grade school together and Issy was the perfect mate. She was the sweetest, funniest & kindest ever. Her passing left a void that could not be filled. Both Lois & I adored her.

It's 4 years since Issy passed and 2 years since Lois left us. Despite the time, they both remain in my heart and memories. May they rest in peace and meet in the great beyond. Condolences to all the Dicksteins,
Your loss is still felt for Marshall, Issy and my wife, Lois.

Oh, what a wonderful woman, with great style, charm and spirit. She was a fabulous spirit for me to look up to, and told me to add " beannie babies" to my store inventory before anyone ever heard of them. How wonderful that she has so many grandchildren to carry on her spirit. Hugs to all of you. Maxine Marcus

I vividly remember meeting your mom for the first time. She was so warm and friendly, so down-to-earth, so glad to have a houseful of her kids and their friends. She was nurturing, and a wonderful shoulder to cry on. My memories of your mom and being in that house only make me smile. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. My love to you all.

We were crushed to learn of Issy's passing. She was a like a sister. She was so vibrant, sweet, kind and funny. She will be greatly missed. We now mourn both Is and Marshall. Our love to the family. Lois & Marty Shainen.

Even though we weren't "blood" related, your mother and grandmother will always be "Aunt Isabel" to me. She had such an enthusiasm for life, a genuine interest in all that went around around her, and a love for her family--real and extended. "That Paper Place" was one of my favorite shops, and I always loved getting a gift that Aunt Isabel wrapped. The world is little less bright today because her light has gone out. Love to all of you and may her memory always be a blessing to us.

Barbie:
I am very sad to hear about your mother. I have such fond memories of working for her when I was in high school. She was ahead of her time, very stylish, creative & full of enthusiasm for everything she did, but especially for her family.
