Condolences to the Hayes Family. I knew Jimmy from the Pioneer Tap back in the day- a nice guy. Sometimes we would both do our Harry Caray impressions--dueling Harry Caray. Some said he sounded like a young Harry Caray while I sounded like an old Harry Caray. Both impressions were pretty good. When he bartended there and would bring over a beer before I ordered it. I would say " who is that from". He would say, " that's on Harry Caray". RIP

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We had many fun times in church choir and on stage, most notably in the USO show, "Any Bonds Today?" Wonderful memories.

Condolences to the Hayes Family, a great loss. Jim always was smiling and always glad to meet and
greet everyone. A new breath to the conversation. I won't talk about His impressions, but
HOLY COW . Will surely miss you but ever forget you. God Speed You To His Side.

Condolences to the Hayes family.
Growing up across the alley on Lombard and a little north of the Hayes house on Harvey in South Oak Park, I have known Jimmy my entire life. Aside from being one of the funniest people I have ever met, with an extremely sharp wit, he was a genuinely nice, kind and gentle guy. He will be missed.

Jim was my friend at the law firm where we worked. I appreciated his smoky baritone laugh, and especially his impressions of Ronald Reagan and Harry Caray. We laughed together and bemoaned the tempores and mores. He was a man of deep faith. I will miss exchanging emails with him about issues of the day. May the Lord hold Jim in His arms.

Condolences to the Hayes Family,
Jim and I walked to Kindergarten together at Irving School in Oak Park before he transferred to Ascension School. He was one of my oldest and fondest friends and I will miss him very much.
God bless you, Jim.
