Lillian Lehman, nee Hartke, age 76, of Winnetka; beloved wife of the late Edward A. Lehman; loving mother of Mary (Robert) Melton, Edward (Karolina) Lehman, Tony Lehman, Monica (Tim) McGregor and Katherine (Craig) Patnode; mother-in-law of Daniel Monkton Jr. and Judith Lehman; proud grandmother of Keeley, Danny, Trent, Stefania, John, Edward, Christina, Christian, Grace, Teddy, Madeline, Katherine, Parker and Grayson; dear sister of Barbara Hartke and the late Rev. Eugene Hartke; dear sister-in-law of John (Talia Schorr) Lehman; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Road, Skokie to SS. I am very saddened to hear about Lillian. I worked with Lillian at Hans Andersen Elementary School. While collecting 5th grade documentation regarding physicals, we enjoyed a few words of encouragement. It was a huge task, but Lillian kept a wonderful smile on her face. The retirees will miss her. I extend sympathy to Lillian's family.

We are so sorry for your loss. We really enjoyed spending time on the bleachers with Lillian. She was a great fan and a delightful lady. We know you loved her very much. So happy Mary that you were able to go on the wonderful trip to Egypt with her recently. A gift you will always treasure. Our warm thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Lilian had a light that shone from her like almost no one I've ever met. She visited NYC last summer and stopped in to see a cabaret show I was in and brightened the whole evening for my dad and me. We are very sorry to read about the death of your Mom. We have known her and Ed since before they were married in 1957. Ed was a partner of mine for more than 40 years.

Marilyn and I travelled all over the world with Ed & Lillian to Mexico, England, the Netherlands, France, etc. We always enjoyed our time together and we will miss her. God Bless you all!
