Lorraine H. Mulacek

Lorraine H. Mulacek, passed away peacefully on Sept. 7, 2007, in Woodland Hills, CA, surrounded by her sister and daughters after a long illness. She was 82. Born Lorraine Helen Nowicki on Jan. 19, 1925, in Chicago. Lorraine was married to the late Sheldon Mulacek. Had four daughters and loved music, dance, painting and ice skating which she continued well into her 70's. Lorraine was predeceased by one daughter, the late Susan Mulacek. She is survived by daughters Tina Painter, Maggie Mayall, Ruby Smith; and her sister Claudette Nowicki; niece, Debra Fox; and sons-in-law Robert and John. She was a dedicated grandmother to April Hoff, Sasha Houdek, Rebekkah Slavin, Zakary Mayall, Jacqueline Painter and Samson Mayall; and a loving great-grandmother to Emily, Lily and Sadie Hoff. All she touched will dearly miss her. Respecting her wishes, a Memorial Rosary Mass was held in California where she lived. There will be a Mass in the spring in Chicago where her ashes will be interred.
