I knew Myrtle & her late husband Al for along time as he was our Alderman here in Brighton Park. She missed her Al as well as her late son. I saw Myrtle a few times at the Glass Co. and brought her a few loaves of homemade bread...she loved it. I lost contact with her awhile due to illness I had. I was shocked to read about her. Guess she is sitting on her "Lurels" up in Heaven. She was a sweetheart of a lady. She was a person that always told it like it was..and I respected her because of it.
