Peter A. Swiderski Sr., 52, of Elgin, beloved husband of Michele R., nee Riley; loving father of Peter Jr. and Adeline; dear son of Joseph M. II (Ami) and the late Adeline
Swiderski; cherished brother of Joseph III(Diane), Paul (Andrea), John (Ann Marie), Thomas Sr. (Terri), Catherine (the late Bill) Elliott, Martin (Charlene), Margaret
(Stephen) Luta, Mary (Kelly) Ohzourk, Mark (Mary), Martha (James) Fabianski, James (Lisa) and the late Michael; proud uncle of 43 nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law of Shawn (Darlene) Riley, Thomas and Michael Sweeny. Visitation at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Prayers Monday, January 26, at 9:15 a.m. to St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Pkwy., Hoffman Estates Mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles. One of my sweetest memories of my brother Peter, was he and Adeline dancing the 'father/daughter dance, at my daughter's wedding at Disney World. His 'love of life' truly began the day he married Michele and grew each day he shared with Peter Jr. and Adeline. His love transcends all space and time. His big hugs, hearty laugh and endless kindnesses will forever hold special memories in my heart. I love you and will miss you forever, dear brother.

I had not spoken to Pete or Michelle in more than 10 years, but I still regard him as one of the best friends a person could ever have.
While I don't live in the Chicago area anymore, I still think of my friends from there and Pete is always at the top of the list.

Michele, Peter and Adeline, I'd like to offer my deepest condolences on your loss. I was out of town when I heard of this and couldn't get back in time for the services. He will be sorely missed by me and anyone else whose life he has touched. He really was one of the goodguys.
