I am truly saddened hear of Rich's passing. I first met Rich at Zenith in Glenview and enjoyed working with him throughout the years.

We are so saddened as we have just learned of Rich's passing. Rich and Gina are the reason John and I are married today as they introduced us for our first (blind) date; we will always be thankful to them for that. We remember Rich with wonderful and fun memories - especially how much he enjoyed his life with Gina. We will miss you much our friend. Our prayers are with you, Gina, and the rest of your family.

My husband and I had the pleasure to have met Rich through his wife, Gina, an old friend of mine from middle school, and co-worker of my husband Michael, who introduced us to each other 37 years agowe only knew Rich for the past 9 years, but saw a loving, warm and caring man that made my best friend so happyand we fell in love with him, too. After their own health battles, we thought they finally had their chance for happiness, but it was not meant to be, unfortunately. The world lost a good man with his passing, and our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to Gina and their family.

I am so very sad, because I adored him! I looked forward to walking by his office when he was in Warrenville and shouting, "Good Morning." He would always laugh and give me a huge smile. I definitely miss him! Rest in peace, my friend.

Even though I have not seen Rich for several years I was very sorry to hear of his passing. I have many fond memories of him. He was always happy, friendly and was a big teddy bear. Your family has my deepest sympathy at this most difficult time.

My wife Tricia worked with "Big Rich" and often came home with the funniest stories. Their work relationship was much more of a friendship. May you find peace in this time of sorrow.

Richard was a kind and loving person. I and my four grown adults remember him with fondness and cherished the times we had together.

I will never forget, when he worked for Amlings, the Christmas trees and the poinsettias he would bring to us, helping us celebrating the season. He was part of our family and tho we were separated by time, he was always in our hearts and will remand there forever.

Dear Uncle Rick,
As I sit here at the computer I still cannot believe you are gone. You are truly going to be missed and you are now the families guardian angel along with grandma and grandpa. I love you very much! xoxox Your niece, Karen
