Robert George Steadman, 71, dear husband of his "was wife" Glynis; loving father of "baby boy" Nicholas and "B.G." Jennifer and Alexandra; dear brother of his twin, Marty; fond uncle of Candice (John) Sunderlin and Brian Steadman and great-uncle of Brooke and Jack Sunderlin. Services Monday, 12 Noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Rd.), Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery. Dear Marty and the Steadman Family,
I'm writing with my sincere condolences on the passing of Bobby. As a long-lost cousin, I was shocked and saddened to hear from Rabbi Shapiro that he had officiated at his funeral. Although its been years since we spoke I'm thinking of you all at this time.

We remember Bob as a great neighbor when we lived on the same floor as he did at 5445 N. Sheridan Rd. He was always friendly and had a great sense of humor.

I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing and extend my condolences to his family.
When I moved to Chicago in 1981 Bob and Marty were 2 of the first people I met when I moved to 5445 N. Sheridan Road. I remember Bob being very welcoming and his deep involvement with music.
All the best during this difficult time.
