Dearest Carol,
How blessed Jack and I feel that you and Roger were and are part of our lives. We always felt that you both were part of our family. Our time apart would only seem like yesterday, as we could always just take up where we left off when we saw each other again. Roger was very dear to us and we will miss him , but the memories will never leave us. We hold you in our hearts, and our prayers are that God will give you the strength and peace you need. We are always here for you. We love you.
Even now as I write this, I have a smile on my face thinking of some of Rogers remarks. Thank you Roger for the memories!

CAROL,
WE ARE SO SAD TO HEAR ABOUT ROGER'S SUDDEN PASSING. OUR LAST MEMORY OF HIM WAS AT OUR CLASS REUNION AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER. HE AND CHUCK HAD A STANDING JOKE ABOUT THEIR "GOLF GAMES". WE FEEL FORTUNATE TO HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING HIM AND ENJOYED THE FEW TIMES WE HAD THE CHANCE TO GET TOGETHER WHEN YOU CAME TO VISIT BARB & JACK. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU HAVE OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND ARE IN OUR PRAYERS.

Carol...
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked for Roger at Aetna in Downers Grove for several years. Not only was he a great boss but a great person as well.
My deepest sympathy,

Carol,
I am so stunned and so deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing. He was a good good friend to me, and I don't think I've ever met anyone with the outlook and sharp sense of humor he had. He was unique and special. I feel very fortunate to have known him and I'll never ever forget him.
I remember like it was yesterday when Roger got engaged to you and proudly showed us all a picture of the lovely girl he ultimately spent the rest of his life with. Every time he ever referred to you within my hearing, even years later, he always called you his bride. I know you made him happy.
My heart goes out to you for your loss.

Carol..We were so saddened to hear about Roger's sudden death. I have such fond memories when you all lived in Long Grove. I will never forget Roger's willingness to live with my Dad for awhile (at a difficult time in his life) in White Bear... What a gift. Know you will be in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days and weeks.
