Steve & Minda Manolis were dear friends of our late parents. We always enjoyed visits with them and their daughters, one of the happiest memories of growing up in the Chicago area during the 1960s. Steve and Minda were at the same time intellectual and down-to-earth, full of joy and goodwill, while at the same time concerned with social justice. Their smiles and laughter will forever resonate in my memory, making me grateful that I knew them. On behalf of my sister, Jennifer, and myself, I extend sincerest condolences.
