MICHAEL MCCARTHY Michael McCarthy, 57, of Magalia passed away January 7th after a long courageous battle with lymphoma. He was born to James and Nadine McCarthy in Sacramento where he was raised. He later relocated his family to Magalia where he was the terminal manager of Central Freight and later worked for Estes, Old Dominion and Conway. Mike loved camping, fishing and riding his Harley, but his greatest joy came from his family. Mike is survived by his girlfriend, Anjie Carman, sons, Brent and Travis, daughter, Maegan, daughter-in-law, Jenna, stepchildren, Haley and Casey Shadwick, and grandchildren, Miley Rickers, and Aiden and Jose McCarthy. He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Joe Arcuri. Mike was preceded in death by his youngest son Jordan and his parents.
