Brian and Karen, Bob and Pat The news hit pretty hard down here-Barry Guerrero, Cheetah and even Jim Zimmerly over in Switzerland. I last saw Mike in Chico 3-4 years ago when my daughter had a bb tourney at Chico St. We went to the Grad and watched college football. We used to love to play one-on-one and when that got to be too hard we would have marathon free throw contests. I still remember our first trip to Vegas and Mike chanting "E.O., E.O., E.O...." in honor of his hero E.O. Thorp, the math guy who wrote "Beat the Dealer." It also hit real hard when I read the obit and realized what had happened to Collin. I am so very sorry about that too. Bob let me know when you might be having that BBQ or whatever it is to celebrate Mike's life. I will still call you as I realize you may not see this or maybe Barry can let me know. I sure wish I had one last chance to get together with the Big Man. Kevin

Robert, Brian and Patrick:
I was so saddened by the reading of Michael's passing. Michael was a solid, solid man. Whenever I ran into him(and he was always with one of his bros) he always had some good info for me-some tidbit on sports, in general, or, more specifically, our beloved Giants or Niners. He was always a class dude and he and his big, baritone voice will be dearly missed. May God bless the Sweeney family in your time of need. Salvador Ramirez

I remember Mike had the most amusing antics and a love of sarcasm...a man after my own heart.
Mike's picture is so good. I would have loved to have known him in his younger years.
My prayers remain with you....Renee
