William Anglin Obituary
ANGLIN
We celebrated Dad's 88th birthday on June 11. He was born in 1920, to Essie Gregory and Early Anglin in Oakland, Arkansas, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Wallie Stafford. He went home to the Lord July 14, 2008.
Dad built many homes in Oroville and Butte County, having learned carpentry in World War II defense plant construction, including the Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant.
He was predeceased by his former wife, Shirley Anglin; and is survived by their children, Patricia Earl, Bill Anglin, Sharon (Rick) Landers, all of Oroville; Charles Anglin, and Maryann (H.L.) Kirk, both of Salem, Ore. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 5:00-8:00 p.m. and funeral services, Tuesday, July 22, 10:00 a.m. at Scheer Memorial Chapel. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall at Calvary Chapel, Canyon Highlands at Acacia Ave.

To All the Family:
Your father and my Dad (E.G.) traveled alot together. Taking their R.V.'s to Mountain View and around Arkansas/Missouri for the fiddling shows. One of their favorite pasttimes. They were so much like brothers.
Just want you to know that our family loved your dad and he shall be missed by all.

Just wanted you to know how much your father was loved by all of us. Dad, EG, thought the world of him and cherished their friendship and playing music together. You just can't beat family. I had talked to Marion (Bill; I could never get used to calling him that) a few months ago and he was always in such good spirits as he would say "for an old man". HA!
We will miss him and I know you appreciated having him back in CA with you.
