Dean Maguire Obituary

Dean W. Maguire, 43, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Stanley, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at his home by natural causes. He was born on March 25, 1972, in Wausau the son of Dale and Maureen (Deiler) Maguire. Dean grew up in Stanley and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1990.

He worked at Berry Plastics in Chippewa Falls for the last 17 years. Dean liked baseball and football; participating in numerous fantasy leagues. He was the "King of the Grill" and made many meals for his family and friends. Dean also was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He is survived by: his daughter, Emily of Chippewa Falls; his parents, Dale and Maureen Maguire of Stanley; his sisters, Vicki (Bob) Grunewald of Augusta and Sandi (Art) Petke of Withee; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Bradley, Ryan and Camryn Grunewald and Andrew and Amelia Petke.

Dean is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Alice Deiler and Jerome and Helen Maguire.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father William Felix officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of services at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley.
