Magdalen Nelson Obituary
A funeral Mass for Magdalen M. (Gabert) Nelson, 90, of 321 Lafayette St., Chippewa Falls, was held Friday, May 29 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Chippewa Falls.
Father Arul Joseph celebrated the Mass, and music was provided by organist July Brist and soloist Doug Parker.
Giftbearers were Kathryn Nelson and Amy Turnbough. The readings were given by Daniel Nelson and Lynne Nelson. Magdalen's son Roland "Buzz" Nelson gave the eulogy.
Interment was at Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, and those serving as casketbearers were Jeremiah Smieja, Keith Hager, James Fox, Buzz Nelson, James Nelson and Jerry Gabert.
Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls is serving the family.
