Roger Mussetter Obituary

Roger Mussetter, age 62, formerly of Menomonie, and Cottage Grove, Minn., passed away suddenly at his home in Littleton, Colo., on Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born in Sisseton, S.D.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy; sons, Mitch and Matt and their wives, Jessica and Sarah; and granddaughter, Rachel. He is also survived by sisters, Donna, Alice and Linda; and brother, Gordon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Alice; brother, Harold; and sister, Joyce.

Roger was a longtime employee of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, retiring in 2003 after 31 years of public service. In retirement, he enjoyed skiing, hiking, biking, traveling and being a grandpa. Roger was an avid landscaper and loved antiques.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 12, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads Church, 5900 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury, Minn., Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and on Thursday, March 11, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crossroads Church. The burial will be in Sisseton, S.D., on Saturday, March 13, 2010.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Friends of Roxborough State Park, 4751 North Roxborough Drive, Littleton, CO 80125.
