WILLIAM REED Obituary

WILLIAM REED William Harold Reed 70, of Penn Yan passed away from COPD on January 22, 2025, with his kids and wife by his side. Bill started his working life with Edward Davie Farms before dedicating 38 years to NYSEG as an Equipment Operator. His greatest pride and joy in life were his children, whom he loved dearly. Bill is survived by his mom, Barb; wife, Toni; kids, Joe (Sue) Reed, and Matt (Kendra) Reed; and grandkids, Eddie Andy, Carter, and Garrett. He is also survived by his brothers, Wes (Judy) Reed, Jim (Linda) Reed, and Bruce (Susan) Reed; and sister Linda Bucklin; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Steve McMichael, Tim and Sheila McMichael, Ted and Paula McMichael, Jackie Carlson, and Tammy and Mark Panzik; also several nieces and nephews, who he loved so much; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by Kathy Slentz, the mother of Matt and Joe. A Celebration of Life will take place at Penn Yan Moose Lodge, 301 E. Elm St, Penn Yan on Friday, January 31 starting at 2 p.m. with a time of sharing at 3 p.m. In honor of Bill's memory, donations may be made to West Lake Road Fire House, 5214 W. Lake Rd., Geneva, NY 14456. Memories of Bill and condolences for his family may be posted at www.WeldonFuneralHome.com. Weldon Funeral Home is assisting the family.
