Kenneth F. Puckett Jr.

Kenneth F. Puckett, Jr., 61, Marion, passed away at 2:45 pm on Friday, September 15, 2023, in his home. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Friday, December 29, 1961, to Kenneth and Carolyn (Devine) Puckett.

Kenneth was an entrepreneur who was the owner of several businesses over the years, including Masonic Event Center, Superior Limousine, Peace and Plenty Catering, Puckett's Mechanical Services, and Puckett's Tree Care. He was a former board member of both the Grant County Rescue Mission and Grace House. He was also a former finance officer at the American Legion Post 95 in Jonesboro. Additionally, Kenneth was a professional truck driver who drove 3,000,000 miles accident-free. He loved playing in his band called Flash Back, where he was a guitarist. He also played many other instruments such as the piano, organ, steel guitar, and saxophone.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn (Devine) Ellis of Prospect, KY; sons, Andrew Puckett of Marion, Kenneth Trejo Castro of Marion, and Nicolas Provost; daughters, Liliana Puckett, Bibiana Puckett, and Miranda Puckett; grandson, Alexander Castro; granddaughter, Mariana Castro; brother, David (Anjali) Puckett; sister, Melissa (Alex) Argotte; ex-wife Rocio Puckett; and several loyal employees.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Puckett, Sr.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 403 W. 4th St., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Kenneth's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
