Papaw you will never be forgotten...I love you to the moon & back. I will never forget all of the memories & time I spent growing up at your house. You taught me how to fish and bait my own hook. You always took the best of care of my Grandma Jerry, and for that I thank you! I'm truly blessed to have known you, love you, and claim you as my grandfather! As I child I would come trotting through the front door grinning from ear to ear & you would look up at me, shake your head, and say "did I send for you?" Before I could answer you would say "come here sweetie" and you'd shower me with hugs & kisses. I'm thankful for memories, and time we had together. I'm blessed have known you & been apart of your everyday life. Rest easy. Love, your 'Shirly Temple'

Mr. Staples was one of the most friendly, funniest people I remember growing up. He worked with my father at Florida Power, socialized a great deal with my family and when I think of my best times growing up, Mr Staples always comes to my mind. I am sure he is keeping everybody laughing in heaven! :)

Words can not express how much this man meant to me. He was one of a kind. He was the kind of grandpa you didn't have to see or talk to everyday to know how much he loved you. We had SOO many great memories growing up and the visits to Florida were always a special treat. Grandpa was never afraid to speak his mind or shower you with the biggest tightest hugs and always a kiss. I have some very very special times with him that will never be forgotten. Hope he's having a BIG PARTY with his mom and dad and all his siblings May you rest in peace grandpa. You will never be forgotten till we see each other again all my love
