Robert "Bobby" Boleware

1938 - 2017

Robert "Bobby" Boleware, 78 of Beverly Hills, FL passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017 at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. He was born September 9, 1938 in Carson, MS and came here 24 years ago from Scottsboro, AL. Mr. Boleware was a retired president of manufacturing in the apparel industry. He was a founding board member of the Jackson County Hospice in Scottsboro, AL and served as president of the Jackson County American Heart Association. He was a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Crystal River- Kings Bay, he served as a former director of the L.I.F.T. organization and was the former owner of the Pack and Post stores in Crystal River and Homosassa. He was of the United Methodist faith. His most important accomplishment in life was his family and children.
He is survived by his loving wife Clarette, of Beverly Hills, his sons; Mac and wife Lee Anne of Beverly Hills, Chris and wife Jennifer of Huntsville, AL, Mitchell and wife Susan of Hattiesburg, MS, Kevin and wife Jennifer of Rochester, NY, a daughter Brooke Boleware of Beverly Hills, FL, a brother Kent Boleware and wife Frances, a sister Diane Watts and husband Jerry, his mother-in-law Elizabeth Leinwander of Beverly Hills and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 4th at 4 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 3 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Strickland Funeral Home with Crematory of Crystal River assisted the family with arrangements.
