Christopher Kenneth Brown

Cincinnati - Christopher Kenneth Brown, age 35, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died in his sleep on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Chris was born on January 22, 1986, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Kenneth Klein and Sandra Ellen Brown.

Chris was a twin and one of 6 children: Tanya, Chris, Paul, Sarah, Anna, and Elizabeth. He grew up in Anderson Township, Ohio. He always enjoyed companionship growing up as a twin and hanging out with their circle of friends. Chris embraced deep friendships from grade school, high school, college, and beyond, impacting and uplifting all who knew. His family and friends admired and cherished him. He was a young professional engineer and family man who enjoyed entertaining friends and family around his grill, camping, gaming, and target shooting.

Chris conscientiously climbed the educational ladder from St. Paul's Lutheran Elementary in Madisonville, Anderson HS, and the University of Cincinnati school of engineering. He was hired right out of college as a computer engineer by Northrop Grumman. Recently, Chris climbed to a higher position at Cryptic Vector. Chris married Rebekah Latanich on February 26, 2011. Chris was a devout father of two bright, energetic children, Noah (6) and Elyse (4), who loved and will miss him dearly. He was a phenomenal father and spent most of his spare time playing, adventuring, and teaching his kids.

Chris is survived by his wife Rebekah Latanich, children Noah, age 6, and Elyse, age 4, his parents Kenneth Klein and Sandra Ellen Brown, Grandpa Kalvin Kranzo, his five siblings: Tanya Tokar, Paul Brown, Sarah Brown, Anna Brown, and Elizabeth Brown, one nephew, Andrew Brown, and three nieces Katelynn Tokar, Olivia Brown, and Aurora Brown-Navarro. In addition, Chris had eleven cousins and long-time friends across the country and internationally.

Funeral viewing will be held from 1:00 - 2:00, followed by a funeral service from 2:00-2:30 on Saturday 6/5/2021.

Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Homes, 5501 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH (513) 631-4884. Chris will be cremated.

Memorial reception with light refreshment will be from 3:00 to 5:30 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1175 Birney Ln, Cincinnati, OH.

Interment of ashes will occur later.
