Donna HENNING Obituary

HENNING

Donna a resident of Anderson Township, died Feb. 9, 2011 after a long, courageous battle with MS. She is survived by her husband Dan, daughters Kelly and Katie, father Robert Straley, mother Barbara, brothers Thomas, David, Matthew and Brian, and many admiring friends. Donna was born in Lafayette, LA on Dec. 4, 1956, graduated from Thomas More College and Xavier University with a BS and MS respectfully in Social Services. She was employed in the Greater Cincinnati area since 1976 by various social service agencies including Short-Long Term Care, United Way, and Northern KY Senior Services. Her passions were family and helping others. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Visitation will be Monday, Feb 14 from 5 pm until time of service at 7 pm at the Hay Funeral Home and Creamtion Ctr. 7312 Beechmont Ave. 45230. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS Society of Cinti 4440 Lake Forest Dr # 120 Cincinnati, OH 45242. Guest book at www.hayfuneralho me.com

Our prayers go out to her family. Dan, Kelly and Kate, Donna will be greatly missed. I am sorry that I never had the chance to meet her, but I was told she was a wonderful person. She showed great courage in her fight with MS. Donna will always be with you.

Her smile and great sense of humor will always be remembered. She had such a positive outlook despite her horrible diagnosis. She was a great example for others and will be truely missed.
