"Jan" Berger (nee Merland) beloved wife of Harry "Skip" Berger, devoted mother of Chris (Molly) and Scott (Kristin) Berger, dear sister of Mary Kay Luchenbill, Bob (Sue) Merland, Joyce (Joe) Mogan, Elaine (Jeff) Small, and Joe (Cindy) Merland, loving grandmother of Ben, Sophie, Will, and Megan, caring daughter-in-law of Lorraine Berger, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sept. 26, 2019. Age 70 years. Residence Anderson Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Anderson Twp., on Mon. Sept. 30, at 10 AM. Skip, Larry and I were devastated to hear of Jan's passing. She was such a kind, sweet and caring person. She always had a smile for you. Please accept our sincere condolences to you and your family. The picture I have attached is from our September 2013 lake weekend. It made me smile thinking of the memories of that weekend and I hope it makes you smile too. Karen and Larry Jones.
