RIEDINGER
John A. "Jack", 83, went to the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2014. His family wishes to thank Eva Trevino and Christine Rivas for their years of loving care. He was born on January 10, 1931 in Newport, Kentucky to Abrose and Virginia Riedinger. He graduated from Newport Catholic High School and attended the University of Dayton with a baseball scholarship. After one year of college he joined the Air Force and became a trainer pilot. He met Jackie Bea Mueller, married her October 3, 1953, left the Air Force to work at Lubbock Glass and Mirror, joining the family glass business. He successfully led and expanded their wholesale and retail auto and flat glass business throughout North America. Jack was preceded in death by Jackie, his wife of 52 years, and a great-grandson Bennett Vanderham. He is survived by their four daughters, Lea and Steve Wright of Amarillo, Gay and Kevin Atkins of Lubbock, Eve and Bill LeSuer of Fort Worth, and Kim and James Lucas of Southlake; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include his two sisters and their families, Doris Wheeler and MaryAnn and Ken Krusling of Cincinnati, Ohio. A private burial took place on Wednesday, May 7th and a memorial service will be held at White Chapel Methodist Church in the Chapel, Thursday, May 15th at 1:00 p.m. 185 S. White Chapel Blvd, Southlake, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Texas Boys Ranch, Box 5665, Lubbock, TX 79408. Online condolences may be sent at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com

I first starting working for Jack in 1975 and in the years following he always told his employees how much he cared and appreciated them and their hard work and said that "we were a family". He was a man of extreme integrity with a kind and loving heart. He will be missed by many.
