My prayers are with Gail, Kathy, Steve, Donald and all of the extended family of this wonderful man. Steve was one of the finest men I've ever had the honor of knowing. We were neighbors. When Steve and Gail first moved into the neighborhood, I had an inkling of the type of neighbors they would become as I saw them transform their unfinished home into the well-kept home and lawn it became. As years went by, we became closer.
We'd chat in the yard, talking about their cats or our children. Steve helped me with so many things around my home - from keeping my lawn mower going, to calling me when I forgot to put down the basement door to helping with tree removal. This wonderful man could do just about anything and he loved helping people. He wasn't a big talker, but when he spoke, he said words worth listening to. We have lost an angel on earth but heaven is a richer place today. May he rest in peace.
