James Touhill Obituary
Born in Pittston on Nov. 22, 1946, the son of late Lawrence and Helen M. Kearney Touhill, he was a 1964 graduate of St. John's High School, Pittston.
James was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Prior to his illness, he was employed by Leslie Fay, Tigue's Bar, Avoca, Vough and Associates and the Law Offices of Tony Ross.
He was active in the Greater Pittston Softball League. He was one of the best pitchers for the Local Yokels softball team. He enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics and attending Notre Dame football games.
James is survived by his companion, Mary Lou Fino; friends too many to mention; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Diane Forlenza Touhill; parents, Helen and Lawrence Touhill; and father-in-law, Daniel Forlenza.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Interment will be held in West Pittston Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be sent to Care and Concern Health Clinic, 37 William St., Pittston, PA 18640.
