Joseph J. Hollock, born Oct. 9, 1955, passed away at Riverstreet Manor on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023.
He was in the Navy Seabees for six years, the Army Reserves for two years and then another six years in the Navy Seabees with his brother, Kenneth. He attended West Side Tech, which during this time he met the love of his life, Gail Heffron, whom he married and spent his lifetime with.
He loved the outdoors, whiskey, camping and long motorcycle rides on the weekend. He then got diagnosed with MS, which he fought bravely for over 20 years with my mom right by his side. He is a warrior in my eyes and will be sorely missed. He was an amazing father, husband, brother and friend.
Surviving him are his daughter, Erin Hollock; and brother, Kenneth Hollock.
I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverstreet Manor for the care they gave to my father during his stay.
