Mrs. Mayka was a great neighbor, whom I have known for over 52 years. Thanks for letting us play with your cats, even though we weren't supposed to, for letting us pick your boysenberries and look down your well. I will never forget the day you "baby sat" me as an adult when I was so sick. You made such a wonderful day for me just by being there, eating lunch with me, chatting and watching tv. You are a special lady, who will be missed.

I knew Mrs. Mayka from the guidance department at Crestwood High School. She helped many people through those turbulent high school years.
She will be missed.

Dear Ed and Tommy and families,
I was surprised and disappointed to hear of the passing of your Mom. I never had her as a teacher, but I remember her well. She must be the last teacher who remained of the staff at Fairview. God love her and comfort you all.

Dear Ed and Tom and family,
I am sorry to read of your mother's passing. I can hear her in our French class way back when there was a Fairview High School. She was a fine teacher, and a thoughtful person. She was a role model for my early teaching years. Her legacy includes her teaching work. Fondly, Helen Mack
