How lucky I was to grow up with Mike and his brothers. The fond memories; I could go on and on. He was always a good sport and as everyone has mentioned LAUGHING. Infectious laughter. I have never heard one person have a negative word about him.Early on we called him "roller skates", he just took to them and would skate for hours. We loved are board games, Yahtzee especially; playing cards. Of course our TV shows we loved...Soap, Dark Shadows, Taxi and Let's Make A Deal, which we spent many hours creating our own versions.Later on came movies and music...I can't count how many times we saw Rocky Horror, Grease, Staying Alive and Young Frankenstein. He mastered every dance move. I will always love you Mike. Peace be with you.

Mike, I am heartbroken to hear of your passing. Although it has been many years since we spoke, and we took different paths with our lives, I have thought about you often over the years. You were a spark of light, and I found love in your laugh. I hope your life was filled with happiness and joy, because you deserved all the good things that life has to offer.

Michael, I don't know what happened to the candle message I listed, but I am so shocked by your passing. From all the fun we had as a group, at Bucky's, and eventually marrying the true love of my life, Carol (Bootie) Swanson, one of your best friends. And what can I say to how you added to our co-wedding shower and eventual wedding. It was pretty much non-stop laughing. So now you have a larger stage to keep the people in heaven smiling. You are already missed and we all hope to meet up with you again. Love you man, may you rest in peace.

My goodness Michael where do I start? From the day I met you at the Ashley playground to the nights we'd all sing along on your porch to the 8-track from "Grease" to those weekend nights where we rocked (or "ruled" as you'd say) the disco floors @ Alice A's and the Treadway Inn. The Christmas Eve gatherings, the head-scratching jokes, the incessant laughter--you were the captain of it all. Rest easy Michael...and I hope you've finally found that "Lucky Star."
