Dear Bill: I was shocked to hear the news from my daughter Kelli, who read the obit in the Topeka paper. No one knew on the Max Kern side that Liz had passed on. Our deepest sympathies are with you at this time.

Bill, what a shock to hear about Liz! None of our family knew, and we're so sorry we couldn't be there to show our love and support at a very difficult time!
