I just found out about Ezra's passing. I cannot express my condolences completely but I do remember what an awesome guy he was when we were kids in Madrigals, driving around in his old hearse. Glad to have known him his smile was unmistakable.

I was a student-teacher of Ezra's when he was in the seventh grade. I have never forgotten him and the joy with which he approached life. I am deeply saddened at his too-soon departure from this world, but the world is undoubtedly a better place for his having been here, however short the time.

Ezra was the most fun barista, he could joke with the best, I enjoyed getting coffee when he was on duty. He just always made me smile. I liked his taste in music, the String Mountain Band/Boys - he will be missed - Sandy H.
