Michael Luthi Obituary

Michael J. Luthi On November 3rd 2018, in Davis, CA. Michael J. Luthi's gentle soul floated on to its next great adventure.

Mike a 25 year resident of Davis, Ca. was 70 years old.

Mike was born in Topeka, KS. on August 10, 1948 to Otto Frank Luthi and Melvina Jean Luthi (Johnson). He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1966, studied at Washburn University and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1973.

Mike retired as a Sr. Producer/Director from the University of California, Davis' Academic Technology Services in 2012 after 24 years of service.

Mike is survived by his wife, Deborah and son, Morgan (Brenda), two grandsons, Wyatt and Emmett of West Sacramento, CA., sisters Barbara Dutton, Beaverton, OR. and Marjorie Deforest , Topeka, KS., nephew Erik Abel (Nellie), Seaside, OR and numerous cousins.

At Mike's request his remains were cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held in the new year.

Very sad to find out today about Mike's passing. I have great memories of Mike at UCDavis. Such a kind human being. May he Rest In Peace.
