Dear Chris, Kim, Andrew & Austin,
I have remembered the last time we saw you in such detail. The boys took me on a walk to show me the neighborhood as we talked. I remember that Aaron was very caring and loving as are Andrew and Austin.
GrandPa played pass football and had such fun.
Take strength from God to see you through this.
We love you all, our prayers are with you everyday.

Dear Chris and Kim, Tom just called me and told me your news. Unfortunately he just found out. He is devistated as am I. We lost our son at the age of 22. There is no preparation a parent can go through for this!! Nothing. Tom was my strength and it is at this time you both hold on to each other and hang on!! Tom told me how much you enjoyed doing things with your kids. It will take a long time, but the days will be bearable again, somewhat. You are in my prayers!!

Eitel Family,
I am truely sorry for your loss of Aaron. I know from first hand experience that nothing myself or anyone else says can make this any easier. I lost my baby brother, Nathan Grice, Feb. 1, 2007. I am offering to help you or your family in any way that I can. I hope your children will heal as well as you and your husband. I know how strong I tried to stay for my parents, but I also know how confused and hurt I was by Nathan's death. If your boys need to talk to me or my sister, do hesitate to get in touch with us. I hope your family will remember the good times and smiles and not dwell and relive that horrible day. May God be with you all.

With all of my heart I am praying right now for you to be able to deeply feel and know the presence of God's Spirit. All of the words that people lovingly try to say sound like empty echos when your fighting to keep your heart beating. It is only feeling and knowing His intimate presence that cause your broken hearts to live again...to have genuine peace. And I pray this for you with all of my heart.

Mr.Chris and Mrs.Kim, Andrew and Austin:
Aaron was the sweetest person i have ever met.
Anytime i was down, he was always there with his jokes and laughs...
he knew the right words to say that would make me smile and forget about my problems...
and as i read what others wrote in this book...he could do that to everyone he met.
i thank God every day for Super Summer and the chance i got to meet aaron...i will never forget the first time i saw him...sitting on the front row on the couch in our meeting room (Club Silver) he offered Kati and i the seat...
he was quite the gentleman i have to say...
He was my best friend...
my rock...
when i needed to talk to someone at 2:53 in the morning because i cant sleep i knew that he will be awake and willing to randomly talk (mainly about music and bands...which i know was his PASSION)
i dont know who im going to call so randomly and late now...no one can replace my aaron...
i loved aaron with all of my heart...and i love you all too...
i consider you like family...
if you ever need anything...just tell me...
i have learned from this experience that i shouldnt take advantage of my friends...i should be there for them when i need to be...
all of this happened for a reason...right now i have no clue what that reason is...
it could hit me tomorrow...in an hour...or in 57 years...
but i know that some type of goodness will come from this.
like in one of the songs i forced aaron to listen to by superchick (he didnt like most of my music...but he got over it)says that there will be beauty from pain.
i believe that there will be beauty from this pain...
aaron taught me so many things...
and those are the things that will stay with me throughout my life...
i love ya'll so much...and i loved aaron too...
i know i will see him again someday...and what a great and happy day that will be!

Kim, Chris, Andrew and Austin,
I am so sorry. You have been in my prayers and will continue to be. I wanted to share something with you that Daddy always said. He would never tell anyone, "Sorry for your loss" because 'loss' implies you don't know where your loved one is. I firmly believe we know exactly where Aaron is and that he is surrounded by the love and comfort of our Lord. Know that we hurt for you and with you and will continue to pray for you.

Dear Kim and family,
Words are badly inadequate for expressing our sorrow for your loss. You have been constantly on our minds and in our prayers these last few days. We pray that you will find comfort in the knowledge that because of our love for you we share your grief in some measure; and that the Father, whose Son also died, cares for you even as he has Aaron now in his care. We pray also that you will be strengthened by the power of Christ who triumphed over death itself. We love you.

Mr. and Mrs. Eitel and boys,
There is nothing that I can say to make it any better, but, what I do know, what I have learned these past few days, is to let your friends and family, your church, be your strength. I'd like to share something with you that was shared with me when my son went away:
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God call us one by one
the chain will link again.
my eldest son, who will be 16 Sunday especially found peace in this, perhaps you will too. May God bless you all.

Our prayers and hearts are with you in this time of your grief and sorrow. Our prayers are that your sorrow will be turned into joy as you contemplate His/Our Lord's goodness and grace through it all, and in the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
