Dear Mollie: Your mother taught my children at Walthall School and how they loved her and how my heart goes out to you and your family in the loss of you Dad. I also knew him because my brother was a drug detail for Upjohn and I knew him through him and through your mother. My love to you and your family. By the way, the kids in school wanted you to be named Vera Don or Molly Sue. You were so special to them.

Vera and Family, I am so sorry that you lost your father and the girls, their grandfather so suddenly. As I said, I had one conversation with Don that only lasted a few seconds over the phone and his voice was a good one! I am praying that your sorrow will be softened by the God that he loved and the one that you and I know that loves us. Peace and blessings to you all and have traveling mercies as you return to Charlotte.
