Madison - Marie Kuhn Thomas, 70, passed away July 13,2018, at her home. Marie was born on June 24, 1948 in Belzoni, Ms. ; one of seven children born to Ellis and Mildred Kuhn.
Marie is survived by her husband, Eugene Thomas, mother, Mildred Kuhn Pugh, son, Flynn Cross, brothers; Ed Kuhn( Polly), Bill Kuhn( Belinda) and Joe Kuhn(Marilyn), sisters; Peggy Smith and Judy Parks( Al); Step children; Larry Thomas( Beverly), Regina Walton, and Junior Grantham( Becky), 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother in law, Rick Winans, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, husband, Melvin Steen, and sister, Helen Winans. Marie was a loving caretaker of her family, and took great pride in maintaining her home and garden to perfection. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Center Terrace Baptist Church in Canton, Ms. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Breeland Funeral Home in Canton, Ms. , and one hour prior to the service at Center Terrace Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Canton City Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Winans, Billy Wayne Kuhn, Ken Kuhn, Andy Kuhn, Junior Grantham and Jeremy Walton. Memorials may be made to Center Terrace Baptist Church, 605 E. Peace St., Canton, Ms.

I remember well Marie's humor, smiles, and laughter during our work time at ABC as well as her beautiful flowers she grew. She was well liked and much respected. RIP, Marie, in the arms of the Lord.
