Peggy, we are sorry to read of Paul’s passing. Just today Vern talked about our car breaking down back in 1997 or 1998, and how you all stepped up to help out . That’s when I googled you to see if you still reside in Jackson. Your whole car club was amazing and we still crave the catfish you introduced us to. Big hugs, Rita and Vern Petterson. Tucson , AZ. My heart is so heavy for all you. Mr. Acey was like a 2nd Daddy to me. He always was so friendly and loving to everyone. He talked so much about his sweet Peggy and he was so proud of all you kids. Tim you remind me so much of your Daddy. Stan every time I see a hot rod I think of your daddy and Tim and you. Pam he loved his baby girl. Mike he would always keep updated on you too. I hope all the memories will comfort you and help you on the days that are not good. The sun is out today he is at peace and he is smiling on all you. You will be in my prayers and I loved him and I love all of you. This ROCK of man touched so many lives.

Mr Paul was the 'go to guy' when your old car was on the fritz. Don't think there ever was a repair he couldn't make. Raised a fine family of which I grew up with in south Jackson. Fond memories every time I came home and passed his station on McDowell. God be with Peggy, Mike, Stan and Pam and all the kids who will be under his continued supervision. Cars in heaven are getting a tuneup !!

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of a great friend and family member in Paul R. Acy ! He was truly a person who always responded to the needs of others; some of which he didn't even know. Paul fits the definition of a "true human being"; which is described in a quote: "The purpose of life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others.Only then have we ourselves become true human beings"! (Albert Schweitzer). We pray for comfort, peace and understanding for the rest of the family members during these days. Bob & JoAnne Megginson

My Prayers and Condolence for the family,he will be truly missed. there are so many days I can remember working in my yard, and when he turned that curve, you better believe if I was outside.working in my yard,he was going to stop just to say hi or to tell me a joke,or how I needed to get on to John Wayne, lol.always smiling and had Lucy with him every where he went.and when we hung out at the station, you better believe we might have 50 car's or so,but if you seen Rock come in with that Wrecker Truck, you better bet we went to scattering.because if he could not get in HE was dang sure going to let you know, that next time he better not have to wait. But he still let everyone all hang out there. He was such a great man he will live on in spirit, forever.RIP ROCK.I Will Miss You.
