Alfred Haney Obituary

WARSAW — Alfred James Haney, 77, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at Rex Hospital. Mr. Haney was born April 30, 1938 in Sampson County.

Mr. Haney is survived by two sons, Alfred Haney Jr. and wife, Cindy and John Haney and wife, Sharon all of Warsaw; and four grandchildren, Tyler Ryan, Addison, and Kendall. Mr. Haney is also survived by a brother, Glenn Bass of Clinton; three sisters, Ann Brown of Clinton, Kathy Corbett of Turkey and Rosie Carter of Clinton.

Mr. Haney was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth "Sally" Haney; mother, Mamie Lee Brown; and brothers, Roscoe Bass, Ruben Bass, and Carl Haney.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, Inc. Visitation will follow the service. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in Devotional Gardens.
