James Denbow Obituary
He was born 10/13/1934. His grandmother raised him in Morrison. He spent his spare time at the livery stable where he learned about horses. He was a Farrier in Evergreen for over 50 years; if you had a problem horse, you called Jim.
In grade school he met the love of his life Alice Styron; they married on May 8th 1954. Keeping their marriage vow for 69 years. "For better or worse until death do us part." They raised 4 sons: Jimmer, Richard, Scott, & Steve.
Jim & Alice moved to Evergreen in 1960. Jim was a Heavy Equipment Operator. He made $1.23 an hour when he started. Jim built roads in Greenwood, Old Hiwan and Soda Creek Subdivisions.
We will all miss him. He is survived by his wife Alice, his sons, their wives, his 9 grandchildren, 1 passing before him. Jim had a special love for his 13 great grandchildren.
Evergreen will be a duller place without Jim and his "true grit" attitude, love for his family, this town and his junk!
There will be a private burial at Morrison Cemetery. And memorial at The Elks Lodge in Evergreen Nov. 17th at 1PM.

Was always special having Jim drop by for his monthly hellos! He shared his memories of the Morrison and Evergreen area which was so interesting! He enjoyed talking about his family! I will miss seeing him again and hearing him use the nicknames he gave us! Thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends!
