I knew Mitch for many years as I was his barber before he moved to begin his new career as a teacher. He was always kind , with the gift of patience all teachers should strive to have. It has been many years since I've seen Mitch and I'm so happy to read he found his forever love and wife. May he RIP. Linda Cook

As a kid, I always remember being so excited when my Uncle Mike would bring over his brother Mitch. I thought he was so funny, nice, and cool. Particularly because he drove a light blue Camaro, which was pretty rad. As I grew older and moved away from home, I saw Mitch less. However, when I did see him, he was still as funny, nice, and cool as I remembered him as a kid. Even if he didn't have the light blue Camaro anymore. He was a truly wonderful person.

I taught music at the same school Mitch taught art. Our rooms were close by so often we would swap stories about teaching, art, and music. It was so nice to have a colleague who shared a similar sense of humor and a thirst for good food and adventure. I pray that you RIP, Mitch, and that you can still ride you motorcycle up in heaven. You are remembered and dearly missed!!

My favorite memory of Mitch was when we were in grade school, shortly after I moved to the Woodland area, he came to my birthday party and was the only boy there. We have been friends ever since. Your gentle soul will be missed. I will see you in Heaven!

While camping in Chaco Canyon we learned of a nearby spot where supposedly you could speak and the acoustics allowed you to be heard across the canyon. We bought a cd of Indian flute music from the visitor center and that night backed his truck up to the "speaking wall", put in the cd,opened the truck doors and played the flute music across the canyon and down the valley. Hauntingly beautiful.

I felt blessed the day I met Mitch and Claudia. I will remember Mitch the rest of my life. It's not often you get blessed as special as I did.
