COLUMBUS - Daniel Chadwell, 30, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, May 11.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 3921 20th Street in Columbus.
Masonic Service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at McKown Funeral Home Chapel, 2922 13th Street, Columbus, with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, also at the church
Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday also at the funeral chapel.
Graveside Service is at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha.
Daniel C. Chadwell was born June 10, 1977, in Omaha to Harold and Virginia (Felker) Chadwell. He received his early education in Elkhorn Public Schools and graduated from Elkhorn High School. Daniel lived in Wahoo until recently moving to Columbus. Daniel worked for Region V. and participated in Special Olympics for 22 years. He was active in wheelchair little league, basketball, and bowling. Daniel was a member of the Masonic Temple, Eastern Star, YMCA and Catholic Church.
He is survived by his father, Harold D. Chadwell of Columbus; mother, Virginia Chadwell, of Columbus; sister, Cathryn Chadwell Hunt, Texas; grandmother, Donna Felker Clarinda, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Eleanor Chadwell; grandfather Oliver Felker.
Memorials are suggested to Shriner Hospital-Transportation Fund or Job's Daughters for the Hearing Impaired.
