Alice Sue Pace

Alice Sue Pace, 82, of Clinton, Tennessee, formerly of Memphis and Bartlett, passed away Thursday morning, November 27, 2008, at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice Services in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mrs. Pace was a retiree of Sears andRoebuck Company where she was a supervisor inthe auditing department for 42 years. She was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church and a former member of Scenic Hills Baptist Church in Raleigh. Mrs.Pace was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. Pace, parents, James and Laura Blalock, sisters, Mary Blalock, Jane Johnston, Amelia Lewis, Lula Mae Glover, brothers, George, James (J.A.), and Herbert Blalock. She leaves behind her son, William E. (Bill) Pace and daughter-in-law, Joanna Pace of Clinton, Tennessee. She is also survived by fourgrandchildren, Sarah E. Pace ofMemphis, Rebecca M. Hubbard of Oak Ridge, Emily S. Harper of Johnson City, and William B. Pace of Memphis; and one great-granddaughter, Avery A. Hubbard of Oak Ridge. Mrs. Pace is also survived by sisters, Jimmie Kohler of California, Laura Inboden and Jeannie Penn, both of Arkansas and Madean Du Bus of Texas. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008, at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel andfuneral services will be Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, withDr. John Finley, pastor of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church officiating.
